April is almost over. This is the perfect time for spring cleaning, tying up loose ends, and putting the finishing touches on projects. Try to have every box on your “To Do List” checked off by the end of the week. With the start of a new month will come many new adventures. Just bear in mind that, if you still have tasks pending or jobs that are half-finished, you won’t be able to take on nearly as much excitement as May will have to offer. (And May will have a lot of excitement to offer. Mark my words.)
Bonus Tip: It’s time to be productive, little lamb! To get yourself in the right mindset, try watching some cleaning, sorting, or organizing-themed ASMR videos. I dare you to watch a few of those and not feel inspired.
On April 28th, Mercury will go into retrograde. This means that all matters involving travel, technology, and communication may get a bit wonky. Yes, it might put a damper on your day, but please take a few extra minutes to prepare for the worst (at least where those three Mercury-influenced arenas are concerned). Leave for your commute to work ten minutes early, make sure your phone is fully charged, backup all of your important files on a flash drive, ask your boss for clarification regarding that new company policy, and proof-read your e-mails TWICE before you hit that “send” button. As the old adage goes: “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.”
Bonus Tip: For you, sweet Taurus, I recommend survival role-plays. You know . . . just to encourage that “always prepared” Scout sort of attitude. It’ll come in handy this week.
Your ruling planet, Mercury, is going into retrograde on April 28th. This energy shift will prompt you to do some major introspection. Ask yourself all of the hardest questions you can conceive. What is holding you back from where you want to be? What are your deepest fears? Is there some truth that you are in denial about? Is there something or someone you have been actively trying to avoid? Stop dodging the difficult decisions and unpleasant situations. It’s time to closely examine every nook and cranny of that beautiful mind of yours.
Bonus Tip: If you choose to take a break from your own thoughts, I suggest indulging in some guided meditation ASMR videos. They will allow you to relax without having to leave that wonderful, contemplative space you’ve created.
This week, if it is at all possible, try to keep a low profile. There is bound to be a ridiculous amount of drama within your circle of friends or among your co-workers, and–trust me–you do not want to get caught up in that mess. If you can help it, steer clear of that disaster zone altogether. If you are unable to seek shelter while you wait for this storm to blow over, protect yourself as much as possible while you’re out there in the open. Try to be as diplomatic as possible, and avoid choosing sides. (Also be sure to mind your manners on social media. A seemingly innocent post or photo might be used as “evidence” in the aforementioned dramatic episode.)
Bonus Tip: Need some quality time with a good friend who happens to be low-maintenance and drama-free? After this week, of course you do! Find a nice “caring friend” role-play video and escape.
My lovely lion, are you holding back? If there is anything that you need to get off of your chest, you need to do it before Mercury goes into retrograde on the 28th. Once Mercury starts moving, lines of communication will be more difficult to open and maintain. Are you concerned about someone? Are you in love? Are you disappointed? Do you owe someone an apology? Whatever it is that you’ve been wanting to say–say it! Let your feelings be known! You’ll be surprised at how receptive people will be to your message.
Bonus Tip: If you need a little encouragement before you speak your mind, find some positive affirmation ASMR videos. As soon as you feel as magical, wonderful, amazing, and powerful as you really, truly are…get out there and roar!
You make multi-tasking look easy. Juggling a dozen responsibilities looks like a dance, the way you do it. So graceful, and so well-rehearsed. You do it so well that you are practically expected to keep up the performance 24 hours a day, every day. And, usually, that’s okay with you. It is, after all, in your nature to be the one who is always “taking care of things” and “being responsible.” Well…guess what. This Mercury retrograde that starts on the 28th is going to make you stall your center-ring act. Instead of looking ahead to the future, take some time this week to look behind you. Is there a childhood dream that you stopped pursuing, but yearn for still? That’s worth some serious reflection and consideration. There could be true purpose and joy to be found there. The juggling can wait.
Bonus Tip: Take a break from being an adult and watch some “childhood”-related ASMR videos. This broad theme includes a wide range of videos, such as ASMR artists talking about their own childhood memories, showing/tapping on toys, and reading fairy tales.
Something big is on the horizon! It might be a new job, a raise, a promotion, or a business connection that may lead to a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity…but, whatever it is, your professional life is about to take a massive turn for the better. Don’t forget, though–Mercury is going into retrograde this week. Miscommunication often accompanies this shift. Be sure to have all of the details of your new work status in writing. Read and re-read all of your paperwork and legal documents. Don’t sign anything until you are certain that you fully understand and agree to every last letter. If something doesn’t seem right or fair, question it. Propose an alternative suggestion if necessary. Communicate and compromise, but don’t settle.
Bonus Tip: Nothing will prepare you for this new endeavor quite like simple, good, healthy habits. Being well-rested, for example, will give you the energy and stamina necessary to conquer all of the goals that lie ahead. Search for ASMR videos “for sleep,” and I assure you–you’ll doze off quickly, sleep like a baby, and wake up ready to take on the world.
Is it déjà vu? Perhaps. Has the past come back to haunt you? It might feel like it. Why? As result of Mercury going into retrograde this week, some elements from your past are bound to resurface. An old flame might pop up out of nowhere and want to reconnect. An old argument that was never fully resolved might be rehashed. Perhaps you will be called upon to pay an old debt. However your past chooses to manifest itself this week, just remember one small piece of advice: don’t repeat the same mistakes.
Bonus Tip: Your past and history will be playing a huge part in the events of this week. Why not watch some ASMR vids that fit the same theme? My suggestion for you for this week: past life regression ASMR videos.
Be prepared to explain yourself…over and over and over again. It will be dull. It will be frustrating. It will be entirely Mercury’s fault (for going into retrograde on the 28th). Just try to be patient, and know that this energy shift is going to cause communication-related problems for everyone. Talk slowly. Proof-read your texts and e-mails. Make those revisions to your paper. Reformat that spreadsheet. Ask questions. Be prepared to answer questions in return. Be prepared to answer really, really dumb questions. Breathe. Keep things as simple as possible. This will be over soon.
Bonus Tip: After a long, grueling day of trying to converse with people who are bad at listening to and understanding you, retreat into the ASMR community. Here, you are loved and appreciated. I promise, we won’t make you explain what you meant in that third line of the e-mail you sent last Tuesday. Just get comfy and click around on asmryouready.com. Welcome home.
Tensions are high, this week, disagreements are happening more frequently than conversations, and no one seems to be seeing eye-to-eye with you. Your opinions are being trampled on, and your feelings are being swept aside. I know that you have been doing a lot of emotion-bottling and tongue-biting for the sake of civility, and I am proud of you for keeping your composure while you navigate through these rough waters. I must tell you though, darling, that there is a limit to how much aggravation one person can handle. You are swiftly approaching that limit. So…tread the waters gently. Mind your temper. Find a healthy way to release your pent-up frustration. Know where your limits and boundaries are so that you may avoid crashing into them.
Bonus Tip: You need to cool that temper of yours, Cap. First, blow off some steam. Call a trustworthy friend and vent for a while, go for a long run, or turn your radio up and sing along at the top of your lungs. Then, after you’ve used up all that excess energy, try to relax. Find some comfort in reassuring, personal attention-focused role-play videos, or slow that racing pulse with the help of a guided breathing ASMR video.
Feeling a bit adrift, waterbaby? You might feel as though you don’t have a real “place” or position in life, and conflicts at home might have you questioning where you belong. In order to discover where you need to go, you need to know where you came from. Perhaps it is time to trace your steps backwards and reconnect with old friends. If you return to your roots, you’ll find comfort, stability, and balance again.
Bonus Tip: While you are in the process of becoming centered again, may I suggest watching ASMR videos that include water sounds? Those videos are practically made for you, Aquarius.
Don’t assume that others will know what your intentions are, this week. Sure, you may be an open book…but…thanks to good ol’ Mercury, you aren’t going to be particularly easy to read, right now. Generally speaking, you are a physically expressive creature who tends to communicate easily and effectively using nonverbal cues. Unfortunately, everyone is deaf to body language this week. That being said, instead of letting your friends and family members guess blindly as to what you might be trying to convey, make an effort to clearly communicate–with actual words–what you want, need, mean, and feel.
Bonus Tip: Your focus this week needs to be on listening and communicating. You can practice the “listening” part by finding ASMR recordings that are sans video–audio only.
